Bill Gindlesperger

Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer The combination of insight, entrepreneurial spirit and sincere desire to help organizations achieve better results isn’t commonly found all at once. It is, however, exactly what you’ll discover with Bill, the founder and driving force behind eLynxx. Back in 1975 when Bill started what would later become eLynxx he was focused on helping forge better, more productive and efficient relationships between buyers of marketing materials and their vendors. After a while it became apparent to Bill that procurement in the marketing supply chain simply could not be optimized when strategies, tactics and systems built for commodity and inventoried items were used. Procurement of custom-specified goods and services like those purchased for marketing initiatives needed its own strategies, tactics and system but none existed. That’s when Bill set out to invent a method and leverage technology for achieving the optimal mix of quality, service and price in procuring custom-specified goods and services, and today’s eLynxx was born. Bill figured that breaking the iron triangle of quality, service and price could become essential to the survival of many organizations. In the past it was possible to obtain two of the three, but not all three on the same piece of business. For example you could get quality and service, but not at a low price. And if you did get a low price, it would be at the expense of quality and/or service. In the end Bill was successful in finding a solution to the iron triangle challenge, and as a result Bill has been awarded U.S. Patents for the process, a license for which is included in the eLynxx offering of marketing supply chain solutions. These include Patents No. 6,397,197, No. 7,451,106, No. 7,888,143, No. 8,209,227 and approved Application No. 13/478,034 with other patents pending. Nationally recognized as an innovator, inventor, entrepreneur, consultant and author, Bill’s leadership of eLynxx and advocacy of the graphic communications, marketing and supply chain management segments has garnered him numerous awards including lifetime induction into the Printing Industries of America’s (PIA) Ben Franklin Honor Society and Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine’s listing of most influential procurement leaders in North America. Bill has testified before U.S. Senate Committees and has worked directly with Members of the Congress and Senate regarding print management and procurement policy issues as well as Governors, major trade associations, educational institutions and others. He is also active in fundraising for Senatorial, Congressional and Gubernatorial campaigns and was a founder and chairman of the PIA’s PrintPAC. In the community, Bill actively mentors teens, supports the arts and works to save and create community employment. A graduate of Dickinson College with a degree in philosophy and religion, Bill is a native and proud lifelong resident of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania where eLynxx is headquartered.
